Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental health condition among teenagers.

That’s the warning from the Eating Disorder Centre Cork who say early intervention from parents, doctors and dentists is vital to stop an eating disorder from becoming fatal.

The charity are releasing a report tomorrow detailing the work of the centre which deals with around 70 people a week ranging in age from 13 to 60.
